Job Title: Welder (MIG) – Climate Controlled Facility
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $20.93 per hour plus 11.5% shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 3:30PM to 2:00AM | Weekend Shift - Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:00PM
HireCall is seeking experienced Welders for a great Tulsa manufacturing company with a clean, climate-controlled facility. This is an excellent opportunity for welders with 1–3 years of experience who are looking to grow their skills in a stable, team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and weld components for sheet metal products using MIG (primary) and TIG (as needed)
- Secure parts using fixtures, jigs, and holding tables
- Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic metals
- Read and interpret blueprints to meet precise specifications
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Troubleshoot weld issues and maintain high-quality standards
Weld Test Requirements
Candidates must complete a weld test that includes:
Required Qualifications
Experience with MIG welding
Experience with TIG is a plus
Fitter/Welder experience is a plus
Read and interpret blueprints to meet precise specification
Ability to pass a MIG weld test
Basic shop math skills including fractions
Understanding of voltage and amperage adjustments for welding equipment
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to pass a background check
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs
Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods (8+ hours)
Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping
Ability to work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, or aerial platforms
Ability to work in varying temperatures when required
Willingness to work overtime as needed
