Tool Room Attendant
Location: Port of Catoosa
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tool Room Attendant to support daily operations by managing the distribution, inventory, and maintenance of tools and equipment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring tools and consumables are readily available and properly maintained to support production and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities

Issue and receive tools and consumables while accurately logging all transactions.
Maintain organized and accurate inventory records of small tools and consumable items.
Record quantities of materials or tools received and distributed.
Submit requisitions for tools and supplies as needed to maintain inventory levels.
Prepare reports for damaged, missing, or excess tools.
Interact with vendors through written and verbal communication for procurement needs.
Use the company’s ERP system to track and manage inventory and transactions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tool room environment.
Perform additional duties as required to support operations.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a fabrication shop or similar industrial environment preferred.
Working knowledge of hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders, hammers, wrenches).
Inventory management or clerical experience is a plus.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Team player with a service-oriented mindset to support internal departments.
Physical & Special Requirements
Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Ability to climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks (bending, kneeling, crouching).
Manual dexterity, good eye-hand coordination, and balance.
Visual acuity, including color vision and depth perception.
Capable of standing and walking for long periods (minimum of 8 hours/day).
Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid).
Must wear appropriate PPE (safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves).
May be required to work a rotating or night shift schedule.
Must be able to pass and maintain active status in the DISA drug testing program.
