Structure Welder - MIG/FLUX

Pay Range: $20-$22

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled MIG/FLUX Welder to join our team at Catoosa. The ideal candidate will have experience in blueprint reading, layout, and welding of fabricated and forged components to assemble Header components. This position requires expertise in Gas Metal Arc Welding & Flux Core Arc Welding.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand blueprints for welding.
- Tack-weld parts to secure them in position for welding, adhering to correct welding processes and procedures.
- Set up welding equipment for the use of various types of materials.
- Perform weld tests, including passing a visual test with a GMAW/FCAW.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years + of experience in MIG/FLUX welding.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Ability to accurately fit and weld fabricated and forged components.
- Skill in positioning, aligning, and tack-welding components.
- Familiarity with setting up welding equipment for different materials.
- Pass a weld test including 3G MIG/FLUX (no runoff tabs)!
