Structural Welder/Fitter
LOCATION: Catoosa
PAY: $22/hour
SHIFT: Nights
Responsibilities:
- Select appropriate equipment and tools for the welding and fitting process.
- Set up welding machines and welding gun.
- Lay out, position, align, and fit components together according to specifications.
- Use manual techniques or overhead/jib cranes to position workpieces for welding.
- Perform welding tasks using arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment.
- Operate cutting torch and plasma torch for cutting and shaping materials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience and proficiency in laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated components.
- Strong blueprint reading skills for layout and assembly.
- Experience operating small saw machines and iron machines for cutting and shaping materials.
- Ability to pass 2G and 3G weld tests.
- Minimum of one year of structural fitting experience recommended.
