Structural Fitter Welder
LOCATION: Owasso
PAY: $18-25/ hour Depending on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding Expertise: Proficient in structural fitter welding techniques, with the ability to weld on carbon steel and stainless-steel materials.
- Metal Recognition: Ability to recognize and differentiate between various metals used in fabrication.
- Blueprint Reading: Skill in interpreting and understanding blueprints to ensure accurate and precise welding according to specifications.
- Measurement Skills: Proficient in reading a tape measure to take precise measurements for welding tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Experience with operating overhead cranes and forklifts to handle materials and products efficiently.
- Fabrication Skills: Capable of contributing to the fabrication process, ensuring that all components are assembled accurately.
- Welding Test: Successfully pass the welding test, which involves a t-plate uphill weld and laying the other side flat for a stack weld.
- Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of quality control throughout the welding process to meet industry and company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience in structural fitter welding.
- Proficiency in welding carbon steel and stainless steel.
- Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
- Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Successful completion of the welding test.
