Seeking an action-oriented, reliable and hardworking Material Handler with 2+ years of manufacturing experience. This position is responsible for handling materials as it relates to the shipping and receiving of inventory and customer orders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts in a safe manner.
- Packaging finished products for storage and shipment.
- Loading, unloading and receiving of both inbound/outbound shipments.
- Read and adhere to standard and special packaging specifications.
- Safe and proper operation of manual, semi-automatic and automatic packaging equipment.
- Complete and inspect paperwork, tagging and final package for finished products.
- Properly loads trucks in a safe manner.
- Ability to follow safety and operations processes and procedures.
- Work together with all members of a processing crew and company management.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience operating forklifts in an industrial and/or distribution environment.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation and steady work history
