HireCall is looking for a Shipping /Receiving/Inventory Control professional who will work at a climate-controlled facility, where tight tolerance sheet metal products are produced. They accurately and swiftly perform transactions for incoming and outgoing goods, including loading and unloading parts to and from stock locations, counting and stacking parts on pallets, moving pallets or carts between staging areas, packaging, assembly and stocking parts on shelves. Loading and unloading trucks and occasional forklift usage is also involved. Ideal candidate also has Inventory Control and cycle counting/reconciliation experience.
Essential Functions
- Perform stock-keeping functions for incoming goods, packaging, and inventory counting.
- Monitor printer for picking tickets to ensure orders are picked on time.
- Unpack and verify the receipt of all customer-returned goods.
- Support ongoing processes and operations.
- Perform weekly cycle counts.
- Unpack and verify by count and item identification the receipt of all goods delivered to Southern Specialties from vendors.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods.
