Immediate opening for a Sales Engineer with heat exchanger experience. This position requires individuals to develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers. Must be able to strategically engage suppliers and establish the company as the premier value-added provider of process plants and equipment solutions in the markets served.
Essential functions:
- Prepare and submit sales quotations to customers, which includes thermal design, costing, terms and conditions, ad specification review and clarifications.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends, government regulations and shop capabilities.
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning.
- Source and negotiate pricing and delivery from sub-suppliers during quotation stage.
- Coordinate after-sales technical activities within the company.
- Communicate and research customer needs to develop competitive and applicable offerings.
- Negotiate with customers to obtain orders while focusing on company profitability and ability to fabricate within quotation restraints.
- Coordinate and document all customer communications in CRM software.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
- Must have the ability to travel frequently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, required.
- 1-2 years of heat exchanger experience, preferred.
- Recent grads will be considered.
- Transcripts will be requested.
- Proficiency with computer applications.
- Experience in an ISO 9000 environment is preferred but not required.
