We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder and Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong ability to lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble structural forms.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout requirements.
• Select appropriate equipment and tools for the welding and fitting process.
• Set up welding machines and welding guns, assemble/disassemble welding tips and liners, adjust wire feed and voltage settings.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together according to specifications.
• Use manual techniques or overhead/jib cranes to position workpieces for welding.
• Perform welding tasks using arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment.
• Operate cutting torch and plasma torch for cutting and shaping materials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience and proficiency in laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated components.
• Strong blueprint reading skills for layout and assembly.
• Experience operating small saw machines and iron machines for cutting and shaping materials.
• Ability to pass 2G and 3G weld tests.
• Minimum of one year of structural fitting experience recommended.
