HireCall is hiring a Racker for one of our valued Tulsa clients.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Racker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and preparing products for heat treatment, utilizing various tools, and maintaining a keen attention to detail. The primary duties include placing products in racks, operating a table saw and other hand or power tools, as well as using a power washer for cleaning. The ability to lift up to 75-80 lbs regularly is a crucial requirement for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Racking Operations:
- Place products in racks according to specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of products to facilitate effective heat treatment.
- Tool Operation:
- Utilize a table saw and other hand or power tools for cutting and shaping materials as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating tools.
- Product Handling:
- Lift and move products weighing up to 75-80 lbs on a regular basis.
- Exercise care and precision to prevent damage to products during handling.
- Heat Treatment:
- Transport racks of products to heat treatment areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient processing of materials.
- Cleaning Operations:
- Use power washers to clean products, racks, and work areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct visual inspections of products for defects or irregularities.
- Report any issues or deviations from quality standards to supervisors.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Documentation:
- Record and maintain accurate logs of work activities.
- Provide input on process improvements and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Physical strength and stamina to lift up to 75-80 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in operating a table saw and other hand or power tools.
- Ability to work in a semi-climate controlled environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Dependable, Reliable and a good work ethic.
