Registered or Certified Medical Assistants for a specialty South Tulsa clinic. Must have at least 2 years of medical assisting experience, OB/GYN preferred.
Hours: 1st shift, 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri
Compensation: $17-$18 per hour
Duties & responsibilities:
- Must have proof of current, up-to-date certification or registration
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Escort patients to and from exam room
- Records patient data in EHR at each visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies & medication changes.
- eClinical Works EMR software experience, preferred
- Insurance experience a plus
- Obtains all necessary consents/authorizations prior to treatment or procedure
- Schedules surgeries, patient referrals, and appointments as required
- Prepare and stock exam rooms & procedure rooms
- Assist provider with exams and procedures - knowledge of GYN procedures, Nexplanon & IUD’s.
- Follows all exam & treatment room disinfections, OSHA and HIPAA protocols
- Cleaning and processing of instruments and equipment, as needed
- Trained to give injections
- Maintain efficient patient flow
- Displays excellent customer service, verbal & written communication and attention to detail
- Patient Triage Experience a plus!
