Job Description
Seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Welding Inspector with extensive knowledge of all industry welding codes (AWS D1.1)
Technical Skills/Experience- Ability to conduct tests and perform visual inspections to evaluate quality
- Provides incoming, in-process, and final dimensional inspections
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other indicators
- Coordinate with production to correct quality issues
- Records results and provides evidence of product being inspected and tested
- Lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted
- Working knowledge of mathematic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
- Stand for long periods of time
- Range of motion to bend, squat, and perform other basic movements
- Experienced in non-destructive testing, examinations and powder coatings
- Must be able to interpret Engineering blueprints and customer specifications
Minimum 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment required.
