Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician

Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (may require occasional overtime)

Salary: $20 - $22 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of HVAC, basic electrical, and plumbing skills, along with experience in drywall patching and painting. The primary responsibilities of this role include performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Performing repairs and maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, and other mechanical systems.
• Patching drywall, painting, and performing minor carpentry work as needed.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property managers.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory levels.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as local building codes and regulations.
• Collaborating with other team members and contractors to complete larger projects or repairs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs.
• Experience with drywall patching and painting is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime hours, if necessary.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed.

Note: This is not an on-call position. The Property Maintenance Technician will work regular business hours with occasional overtime required.
