We are seeking a qualified Project Manager. The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following: adaptability, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This candidate should demonstrate a combination of technical expertise, project management experience, and interpersonal skills to thrive in the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for developing and coordinating carefully designed and approved action plans to successfully complete projects.
- Accountable for Document and communicate project status, obstacles and resolutions to management; ability to listen, persuade and achieve win-win negotiation results with Company functional groups; traditional project management skills, such as organizing and planning projects, establishing goals and monitoring performance, assessing risks, and anticipating and efficiently resolving problems.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing supply chains and MRP systems.
- Self-motivated with a positive and optimistic attitude; team orientation with good leadership skills – empathy and motivating cross-functional team members to common goal; display persistence, vision and positive attitude.
- Work with Purchasing to assure that all long lead items are identified and ordered in a timely manner in support of the project schedules.
- Good organizational skills and capable of independent work.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and appropriately determine priorities; able to work effectively with all levels of management.
Requirements:
- Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
- Engineering Degree Required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project, scheduling or production planning role.
Salary: $97,000+ Depending on experience
