Production Shift Supervisor
Temp to perm position
Pay: $24–$28 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
• 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Every other Wednesday + every Thursday through Saturday
• Rotating schedule: one week 36 hours, next week 48 hours

Job Summary
HireCall is seeking an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a plastic injection molding environment. This role is responsible for supervising shift operators, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who communicates well, stays organized under pressure, and leads by example.
Key Responsibilities
Review scheduled tools at the start of each shift and assign the most qualified operators
Start up and shut down jobs as required
Monitor all running jobs to ensure quality parts and acceptable cycle times
Inspect molds throughout the shift and clean as needed
Supervise machine operators to ensure safe and efficient work practices
Plan and manage employee breaks, lunches, and job rotations
Complete all required production and shift paperwork
Monitor and maintain acceptable Operator/Machine Hour levels
Coach, counsel, and discipline operators as necessary
Team & Communication
Work collaboratively with operators, supervisors, and management
Communicate job expectations clearly and consistently
Support team success by maintaining a positive and professional work environment
Requirements
Dependable with strong attendance
Minimum 3 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding
Proven ability to communicate clearly and motivate employees
Ability to work under pressure and meet production demands
Comfortable working in hot and cold manufacturing environments
Physically capable of standing for long periods, climbing, and lifting up to 55 lbs
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
