PRODUCTION PLANNER - MANUFACTURING

*Preference will be given to candidates that have a solid work history and that have demonstrated abilities with working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Position outline:
- Provide complete and accurate information for manufacturing and quality personnel for each job processed.
- Ensures on-time delivery for customer orders.
- Expediting and processing job orders
- Follows policy and procedures, maintains manufacturing and inspection processes and communicates with purchasing/project managers on material status and production planning issues.
- May be required to interact with suppliers to ensure outsourced product will meet customer requirement and according to plan.
- Responsible for coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.
- Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases.
The required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience (Preferred)
- High school diploma or general education diploma required
- A minimum of five consecutive years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels throughout the organization and outside agencies
