HireCall is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter for a well-established shop environment. Due to the wide variety of process piping that comes through the shop, this role requires a solid background in pipe fitting (at least 2 years). The majority of work includes Meter Tube Piping (Gas Measurement Piping), Pig Launchers/Receivers, and Non-Code Vessels.
Shift: Day, 1st
Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour, DOE
Responsibilities:
Cut, prep, and fit piping material accurately and efficiently
Perform layout and fit-up for various types of process piping
Maintain quality and safety standards in the shop
Be flexible and assist with material prep, when needed
Welding experience (TIG and/or MIG/Flux-Core), preferred but not require
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on pipe fitting experience (required)
Proven experience with process piping systems
Ability to cut, prep, and fit your own material as required
Ability to read and interpret piping drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to bend, stoop, twist and lift up to 50 pounds without accommodations
