HireCall is seeking a Precision Electronics Assembler
$17 - $19 per hour
Work Summary
Precision Electronics Assemblers generally work in our climate-controlled Mingo or Broken Arrow Facility where we assemble all our machines. In addition to great pay, a full stack of benefits and a sign on bonus, Assembly Technicians receive paid on the job training. They work with the electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components such as diesel engines, pumps and hoses. Knowledge of through hole board soldering, troubleshoot electrical/electronic circuits, electronic assembly, high voltage to low voltage using relays, PLC modules motor controls, point to point, and schematics/blueprints are important parts of this job. Along with the normal duties of assembly our technicians may also perform maintenance on products sent in for repair by customers or distributors as needed. Skills in communication and teamwork are a must.
Work Experience
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work with wiring, soldering, and electrical boxes
- Must have an understanding and ability to read blueprints
- Running wires and troubleshoot electrical issues, etc
- Understanding of wire color code standards and wire size requirements
- Assembles electrical, equipment and subassemblies according to job specifications
- Follows safety procedures to safely shut down equipment before repair
- Must be good with hand, air, and power tools
- Works with mechanics, hydraulics, or electrical systems
- Capable of working with other team members or alone to get the job done
- Committed to Safety
- 2 years of prior electrical related experience, required
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Generally, 95% of the normal work shift requires standing bending, squatting, and climbing while performing assembly work, inspecting work, machines, and checking assembly procedures.
Frequent climbing into, or onto some machines is required to perform assembly work, or evaluate how the part is progressing.
Job requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices should be used when possible. Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
Education
- Two years of field specific Technical or Vocational education preferred
