Requirements for Plate Roll Operator B:
1-3 years operating large pate rolls for various thickness of plates for ring steel and rolled cylinders
Previous crane operation experience required
Ability to perform work with minimal to no supervision with minimal errors
Basic math skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Legible Printing/Handwriting skills
Ability to read a tape measure
Requirements for Plate Roll Operator A:
4+ years operating large pate rolls for various thickness of plates for ring steel and rolled cylinders
Previous crane operation experience required
Ability to perform work with minimal to no supervision with minimal errors
Ability to troubleshoot operating issues on equipment
Basic math skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Legible Printing/Handwriting skills
Ability to read a tape measure
Duties:
Operates large plate rolls to shape and bend metal
Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Positions workpiece; sets, stops, or guides piece according to specifications.
Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
Productivity:
Ensure all work referenced above is completed at an acceptable productivity level for employee's classification and experience level. Productivity performance will be based on historical time studies of similar work.
Shift:
5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday -Friday and Saturdays are mandatory when needed
Pay: $19 - $25+
