Paint Prep position in Tulsa
1st shift opportunity
Mon-Friday 7am -4pm
40hrs/week (no overtime)
$18-$20/hr
Must pass BG and drug screen
OMMA accepted
Job duties and responsibilities:
- take raw products and assist the assembly department in building metal medium sized metal enclosure
- prep the surface with Bondo and other adhesives to fill imperfections on welding connections and surfaces
- use a grinder and sander to smooth out rough surfaces to ensure a smooth seamless surface
- apply primer paint over the entire unit and prepare it for the transfer to the paint booth
Environment;
- indoor with proper ventilation, heating and adequate air movement that's seasonally appropriate
- hearing protection must be used as well as the use of steel toe boots
- in addition to PPE, work pants/jeans are a requirement
