Seeking Medical Supply Assistants for the Tulsa area. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Technicians procure, maintains and delivers supplies needed for surgery cases in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Hours: 1st shift
Pay: DOE
Duties include:
- Loading products to be delivered
- Unloading products and installing them into patient operating/surgery rooms
- Setting up equipment and checks case cart against preference cards for completeness
- Inform staff of breaks in aseptic technique related to packaging and/or handling
- Troubleshooting and repair of equipment
- Processing all deliveries in an accurate and timely manner
- Rotates stock and replenishes items
- Removes unused or overstocked supplies/instrumentation from alcoves.
- Orders missing items and/or informs clinical supervisor prior to the start of surgical procedures
- Cleans supply carts/bins according to monthly assignment schedule
- Ability to use computer, handheld devices and inventory management tools to document orders delivered/received.
- Communicate effectively with surgy, instrumentation systems and S&D personnel by requesting, receiving, location and delivering needed supplies in a prompt and courteous manner
