Well-established specialty clinic seeking an enthusiastic Certified Medical Assistant or RMA to join their team!
Hours: 8am-4:30pm
Pay: $17 per hour
Duties & responsibilities:
- Current, up-to-date certification or registration
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Escort patient to and from exam room.
- Records patient data in EHR at each visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies & medication changes.
- EPIC EMR experience, preferred (CKD/ESRD experience a plus)
- Insurance verification experience a plus
- Obtains all necessary consents/authorizations prior to treatment or procedure
- Schedules surgeries, patient referrals, and appointments as required.
- Prepare and stock exam rooms & procedure rooms
- Follows all exam & treatment room disinfections, OSHA and HIPAA protocols
- Cleaning and processing of instruments and equipment, as needed
- Trained to give injections
- Maintain efficient patient flow
- Displays excellent customer service, verbal & written communication and attention to detail.
- Patient Triage
- 1+ years’ medical assistant experience, urology/nephrology experience a plus!
