Manufacturing Supervisor - Direct Hire
Under direction of the Operations Manager, the Supervisor directs the workflow of the Dayshift production team members. You will lead the group in producing high-quality product for the customer and be responsible for driving continuous improvement while achieving expected safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Responsibilities
- Direct the work of team members and support employees; train employees on required job functions
- Maintain a safe work environment; respond to safety issues with urgency
- Maintain work skills to facilitate job performance as a working member of the team, and to be aware of the required skills for team members
- Establish and meet quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage the work schedule to achieve delivery requirements to both internal and external customers
- Coach & counsel employees as necessary
- Participate in and support continuous improvement activities
Required Credentials
- Minimum of (3) years prior experience leading an hourly skilled trade workforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work overtime as needed

1st shift: 5am-3:30pm Monday - Thursday (supervisor may be required to work Friday and possible Saturday as needed)
2nd shift: 4pm-2:30am Monday - Thursday (supervisor may be required to work Friday and possible Saturday as needed)
Weekend shift: 5:30am-6pm Friday - Sunday (supervisor must be available to work Thursday or Monday for tie in with other team)
- Pay range 65-75K annually
- Full Benefits (eligible on the 1st of the month after 30 days)

- 5 Paid Holidays on Weekend Shift
- 10 Paid Holidays on 1st and 2nd Shift

- Shift Differential for 2nd and weekend Supervisors
- Lean / KanBan/ Sigma Certification preferred but the experience in operations is a MUST

- This is not a desk or spreadsheet tracking position. Our Supervisors work beside their team members on the shop floor every day to ensure obstacles are removed, production is efficient, and to lend a hand when needed.
