We are seeking experienced and highly skilled CNC Machinists and Leads. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for precision. Qualified candidates must be able to set up and verify programming.
Hours: Day & Night shifts available (6am-4:30pm and 4:30pm-2am)
Compensation: $22 - $28 per hour, DOE
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate numerical control machines or machining centers to perform various machine functions such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of metallic and nonmetallic work pieces.
- Mount, align, and secure tooling, attachments, and work piece on machine using overhead crane.
- Must be able to perform inspection functions, including first piece inspection, utilizing inspection and measuring equipment (such as calipers, micrometers, depth mics, drop indicators, pin gages, thread gages, profilometers, and functional gages).
- Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of machine parts.
- Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble machinery components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical documentation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, meters, hoists, and related equipment to perform repairs.
- Order or request replacement parts and coordinate fabrication when needed.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position tool holders in machine spindles as specified or inserts cutting tools in specified machine magazines.
- Maintains production record of parts and jobs fabricated as required by the Department Manager.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of CNC Machinist experience using fanuc controls, Haas V5-V7
- Experience with Mori Seiki CNC and HWACHEON, preferred
- Proficient in shop math and reading technical drawings/blueprints.
- Ability to use CMMs or optical comparator preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime.
- Ability to take responsibility for all dimensional and cosmetic characteristics of the parts worked.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
