IMMEDIATE OPENINGS- DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY
Machine Operators needed asap! Seeking individuals who can work in high-speed and fast-paced routine environments while adhering to safety standards. Must be able to set up and operate chop/band saws, drill presses, plasma machines, as well as shear/break equipment.
Hours: 7am to 4:30pm (1ST shift)
Days: Mon-Fri, occasional weekends
Pay: $19ph-$20 per hour
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
- Must be able to use measuring devices to produce and check requirements of all materials
- Must be able to work from drawings or verbal instructions to complete tasks
- Must be able to set up, run, troubleshoot, and maintain machines
- Stamping/burn machine experience desired
- Must be able to perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
- Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled work environments
- Must be able to pass a basic tape measure test and use hand tools to complete tasks
- Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements
- Must be able to analyze prints and instructions for discrepancies
- Drill Press, Punch Press, Tube Rolling experience, preferred
- Must be team-oriented and able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs with or without accommodations.
- Must be knowledgeable and able to analyze SOP’s; travelers; inspection checklists; etc
