Shift: Day Shift – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday
Pay: $15-$17 per hour
Job Summary
HireCall is seeking a dependable Blaster / Painter Assistant for a manufacturing facility specializing in titanium parts. This position involves blasting parts using aluminum oxide in a blast cabinet, assisting with paint preparation, and learning industrial painting techniques. Candidates with a background in aerospace or automotive painting are preferred; however, motivated and reliable individuals willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
Job Duties
Blast titanium parts using aluminum oxide in a blast cabinet
Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality standards
Assist the painter with surface preparation, masking, cleaning, and staging parts
Learn and assist with industrial paint application processes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of blast and paint areas
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and work instructions
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Background in aerospace or automotive painting preferred
Blasting, painting, or industrial finishing experience preferred
Experience with blast cabinets and abrasive media is a plus
Willingness to learn painting and finishing processes
Strong attention to detail and quality
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
