Header Plate Fitter

$20.00 + per hour DOE
HireCall is seeking experienced Header Plate Fitters for a leading air-cooler manufacturing facility in Claremore, OK. This position requires previous fitting experience and the ability to accurately read blueprints, measure components, and assemble fabricated parts according to specifications.

Day Shift
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Some Saturdays as needed
Pay
- $20.00 + DOE
- Pay based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Fit and assemble header plate components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions
- Lay out, align, and position parts for assembly and fabrication
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments
- Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment
- Ensure proper fit-up prior to welding and final assembly
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a fitter is required
- Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and other layout instruments
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift
Requirements
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements
- Reliable transportation and attendance required
- Steel-toe boots required
