HEADER PAINTER
Weekend Shift, 1st & 2nd Shift
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisor regarding painting.
- Cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces. Ensure that surfaces are free of dirt, dust, rust, oil, grease, and other contaminants to promote proper paint adhesion.
- Mix paint according to the manufacturer's specifications and apply it using various methods, such as spray guns, brushes, or rollers. Ensure even coverage and smooth finish on all painted surfaces.
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects, color consistency, and adherence to quality standards. Perform touch-ups or rework as needed to meet customer specifications and expectations.
- Apply masking tape and other protective materials to cover parts of the air-cooling units that should not be painted, such as labels, gaskets, and sensitive components.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while handling paint and paint-related materials. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
