We are looking for a skilled HVAC Assemblers! The positions entail assembling or fabricating mechanical parts in a manufacturing setting, while paying close attention to detail. Requires basic technical knowledge, manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Install components using current assembly practices.
- Must be able to calculate expansion measurements, set up and adjust expansion machine/gun settings.
- Tube expansion, hydro, dry out, N2 Purge proficiency needed with the ability to teach others.
- Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, fan blades, bearings, and tests them.
- Reading blueprints and build bundles/sections according to prints.
- Must be able to perform all plug and cover duties: choosing thread lubricant, soap bubble testing, hydro static testing and preparation for helium testing.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs. from floor to shoulder level occasionally.
- Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers. Also crawling and working in narrow spaces.
- 2+ years of Assembly or related experience.
- Experience with plenums/driver for air cooled heat exchangers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, labor-intensive work environment.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience, required.
