Seeking experienced Fintube Operators. Candidates must have at least 5 years' experience running a McElroy finning machine.
Night Shift
Job Description:
- Must be able to count, slice, and staple tubes.
- Performs set-up and operation as required without supervision.
- Ability to feed tubes into the machine and connect other tubes with tube connectors to continue the finning process; adjusts machine feed and speed to fin tubes according to specifications.
- Must be able to read blueprints, planning sheets, sketches and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, finning methods and sequencing.
- Verifies dimensions of finned tubes for conformance to specifications using gauges, calipers, and ruler.
- Ability to feed tubes into the machine and connect other tubes with tube connectors to continue the finning process; adjusts machine feed and speed to fin tubes according to specifications.
- Can safely operate overhead or jib type cranes and rigging.
- Performs all non-electrical preventative maintenance as indicated by supervision for specific machinery.
- Must be able to perform oil level checks and clean machine, tooling, and parts.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
