Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fabricator. You will be responsible for manufacturing various rupture disc products as specified by lot card, drawing or work order.
Responsibilities:
- Determine thickness of disk material required by using established formulas and procedures.
- Cut material using cutting table or square shear.
- Set proper die in hydraulic or air press.
- Blank and form material and conduct burst testing.
- Adjust burst pressure by annealing or stress relieving in heat treat ovens.
- Perform temperature testing if required.
- Record pertinent lot card data, stamp disk name tags, and attach to disk assembly.
- Grinding and saw operation
- Some welding
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to operate air and hydraulic presses, ovens, power and hand shears, nibblers, punches, layout equipment, punch presses, and any other equipment deemed necessary by the company.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Reliable transportation and solid work ethic.
