Fabrication Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: Starting at $20.93/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift
HireCall is hiring a Fabrication Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in a climate-controlled facility producing components for sheet metal products. This role focuses on processing laser-cut parts through various secondary operations using saws, drills, and hand/power tools. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and safety.
Job Summary
The Fabrication Operator is responsible for milling, tapping, sanding, cutting, deburring, and grinding parts coming off the laser operator’s table and moving completed parts to the next operation. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality and production flow.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate industrial saws and drills to process metal parts
Mill, tap, sand, cut, deburr, and grind components
Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
Read and follow blueprints and work instructions
Measure parts using calipers, height gauges, tape measures, squares, and angle finders
Safely operate hand and power tools
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety and company procedures
Job Requirements
Experience with industrial saws
Previous fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience using hand grinders and belt sanders
Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, height gauge, squares, angle finders)
Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment
Knowledge of basic shop math
Strong attention to detail
