We are seeking an experienced HSE Technicians to work weekend shifts. Manufacturing experience required.
Both Day and Night shifts available
Responsibilities:
- Implement policies/ procedures and programs to train on work site safety.
- Inspect facilities, systems and equipment to detect potential hazards.
- Source replacement parts and negotiates costs with suppliers.
- Investigate accidents to reduce the risk of future injuries.
- Develops and monitors emergency action plans.
- Enforces usage of safety equipment.
- Trains forklift operators to qualify for licensing.
- Monitors work practices for compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, required
- 2+ years of HSE Technician experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Public/vendor relations experience.
