High School Diploma/GED (Required)
Valid Driver’s License (Required)
Job Description
EXPERIENCED commercial door and hardware installers.
Overview of Work
Assist in the unloading, distribution, and staging of solid wood doors, hollow metal doors and door hardware in the facility and on project site; Organize, take inventory for department to relay to inventory coordinator, and maintain hardware; Installation of doors and hardware; Ability to complete punch work and communicate completion with supervisor and/or project manager.
Job Requirements
- Must have a positive work ethic, a problem-solving mentality and a 'can-do' attitude
- Applicant must be mechanically inclined with carpentry skills and be proficient with hand and power tools
- The ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 6:00-4:30pm (Overtime possible)
- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
- May be required to lift up to 80 pounds and carry for short distances.
- Must be able to study/understand blueprints and schematic diagrams to identify and install both commercial doors along with their hardware.
- Be precise with a tape measure (to the 1/8”) for accurate measurements.
- Understands and respects finish work by us and other trades.
- Understands layout, drilling, anchoring, installation and adjusting doors and hardware.
- Understands and uses power tools safely.
- Understands plans and drawings commonly used in new construction.
- Has the ability to work in cold and hot weather.
- We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
Pay: $16 - $17 per hour
