Project Cost Accountant responsibilities:
- Prepares costs information to be used in operating budget preparation
- Plans, study and collects data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor
- Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
- Analyzes manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual product costs
- Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures
- Makes estimates of new and proposed product or service costs
- Financial reporting, preparing supporting schedules, and analyzing data
- Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts.
- Appraises and evaluates real property or equipment for sale, acquisition, or tax purposes
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, required.
- 3+ years of experience in Cost Accounting
- Experience with large ERP (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Made2Manage), a plus
- Strong systems skills are highly desired as well as intermediate Excel skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
