Port of Catoosa company looking for a Plasma Table Programmer
Position Overview: The Plasma Table Programmer will be responsible for programming CNC plasma cutting tables to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, metal fabrication, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming: Develop and optimize CNC programs for plasma cutting tables using CAD/CAM software.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including programming files, material usage, and maintenance logs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure seamless workflow and address any technical issues.
PAY:
$25 a hour// more depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in CNC programming, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC programming
- Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Omniwin, Pronest).
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
