Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) – Weekend Shift
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: Based on experience (11.5% shift premium on all hours worked)

HireCall is looking for a detail-oriented Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) to join one of our valued clients’ growing teams. In this role, you’ll help ensure every weld produced meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and performance. What You’ll Do:
Inspect welds visually and dimensionally to ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, or other required standards.
Review welding procedures and certifications for accuracy and compliance.
Monitor welding operations to ensure proper techniques and safety practices.
Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) such as magnetic particle, dye penetrant, ultrasonic, or radiographic testing as needed.
Maintain clear and accurate inspection records, identifying and resolving quality issues.
Collaborate with the production team to address welding challenges and improve processes.
Stay current with industry standards and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
Certification: AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years in welding inspection or a related field.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW), metallurgy, and inspection techniques.
Skills:
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols
Good communication and teamwork skills
Bonus Points For:
Experience with ASME Section IX, API 1104 standards, or ISO 9001 quality systems
Familiarity with inspection tools and reporting software
Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
