Searching for a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist with experience programming 3 and 4 axis CNC Mills. Responsibilities include modifying existing programs and working closely with R&D to develop new CNC programs for production. This position requires performing quality checks and working with engineers and machine operators.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years CNC Programmer experience, preferred
- Understanding of G-Code
- Familiarity with MasterCAM and FeatureCAM
- Drafting/3D Modeling experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of technical or associate’s degree
- Experience programming 3-4 axis mills
- Manufacturing background in aerospace/automotive/ oil and gas.
- Computer literate in use of Microsoft Office
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with co-workers and management.
- Develop CNC programs for production and R&D runs
- Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates
- Modify existing programs for different machines
- Maintain tooling database
- Make manual program adjustments as necessary
- Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
