Assembly Supervisor / Assembly Lead
Pay: up to $21.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: As required

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assembly Supervisor (Assembly Lead) to oversee daily operations within our assembly department. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with manufacturing experience who excels in assembly processes, soldering, and team development. The Assembly Supervisor will be responsible for driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring employees are properly trained and consistently on task.

Requirements:
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with assembly processes and soldering
  • Proficient using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read tape measures to the 1/16"
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong training, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical or leadership training preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision
  • Lead and supervise assembly personnel to meet production goals and quality standards
  • Foster a positive, safe, and team-oriented work environment
  • Provide daily direction, coaching, and performance feedback
Training & Development
  • Train new and existing employees on assembly procedures, soldering, and proper tool usage
  • Train employees to accurately read tape measures to the 1/16"
  • Develop and implement training methods to improve skills and efficiency
Task & Production Management
  • Assign tasks and ensure employees remain on task throughout the shift
  • Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure production schedules are met
Quality Assurance
  • Enforce quality control standards and procedures
  • Perform routine inspections and audits
  • Address quality issues promptly
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and productivity
  • Work with management to implement efficiency improvements and waste reduction
Communication
  • Clearly communicate expectations and instructions
  • Collaborate with other department leaders and management
