ASSEMBLY CLASS A - WEEKEND
Day Shift - Friday through Sunday 5a-5p
Duties and Requirements:
Read Blueprints and lead a team to set up Bundles or Sections Correctly and efficiently.
Keen eye for Safety of self and those in your work areas.
Use Cranes to move heads, bundles, sections, plenums, drives, and all shape and sizes of structure with overhead cranes, forklifts, and dollies.
Experience installing Heads, securing heads, keeping Headers Level during Tube installation and setting projection.
Tube expansion experience including setting up machines and taking measurements to confirm minimum and maximum tube wall reduction.
Selecting the proper thread lubricants as needed for Plug holes and studs as needed and required.
Installation of plugs and hydro covers as well as Hydro pressure testing gages.
Conducting soap bubble and helium testing of bundles or sections including proper pressurization of bundles or sections.
Hooking up hoses for hydro testing and pumping up the vessel per print instructions.
Trouble shoot for plug and tube leaks after dropping pressure.
Hydro Testing.
Dry out of bundles or sections after hydro testing. Rocking the bundle with cranes to evacuate standing water.
Use of impact wrenches and manual torque wrenches. Use of Tube mics.
Ability to positively lead a ground of workers as a team from 2 to 8 team members at any given time.
Work at a consistent pace actively moving projects along per job work instructions.
Ability to teach the above activities and task to others that do not have those experiences.
Ability to trouble shoot and find causes for trouble and put solutions in place.
Not a requirement but bonus for Drive, Gear Drive, Fan, and Plenum Assembly experience plus run-in and vibration testing of air cooled heat exchangers.
Use Cell phones only on break times during work shifts.
Two years of prior assembly related experience.
HS/GED
Pay:
$19+ (depending on experience)
