Assembler/Crimper
Job Overview: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Assembler/Crimper. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components with precision, ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing process. This is a full-time position with a starting hourly rate of $13.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Production:
- Perform assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Follow standardized work instructions to ensure consistency in product quality.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment for assembly operations.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Report any issues or discrepancies in the assembly process.
- Measurement Skills:
- Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure to verify accuracy during assembly.
- Hand-Eye Coordination:
- Demonstrate strong hand-to-eye coordination to handle small components and perform intricate assembly tasks.
- Work Environment:
- Stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day) to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any challenges or improvements in the assembly process.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in assembly or a related field is a plus but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day).
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
- Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
Must have reliable transportation
Able to pass a safety sensitive drug test
Dependable/Reliable - good attendance record
Compensation:
- Starting hourly rate: $13 per hour.
