Pipe Welder - TIG/FLUX

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled pipe welder proficient in TIG and FLUX 1G rollout on pinwheel to join our team at Catoosa. The ideal candidate will have experience in blueprint reading and welding of fabricated and forged components to assemble piping components. This position requires expertise in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW).
Responsibilities:
- Weld fabricated and forged components to assemble piping components using GTAW & FCAW processes.
- Set up pinwheel for welding to an X-Ray standard.
- Demonstrate proficiency in code welding techniques.
- Perform weld tests, including passing a 6G 2" 120 wall with a GTAW root pass and FCAW fill and cap & 3G MIG stringer FLUX fill and cap plate test.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in pipe welding.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with setting up welding equipment for different materials.
- Ability to pass a 6G pipe test with a GTAW root pass and FCAW fill and cap & 3G MIG/FLUX plate test.
