Industrial Painter Process Lead
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Lead to oversee and optimize our wet spray coating operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in autobody shop painting, with extensive knowledge of wet spray coating techniques. They will be responsible for ensuring that all top coat processes meet the highest quality standards and adhere to ISO 9000 work instructions. The Process Lead will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities for improvement in procedures and implementing efficient solutions to enhance overall productivity and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Becoming the expert in the Industrial Painter Process Lead position.
- Lead and supervise the industrial painting process, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize expertise in wet spray coating techniques to oversee the application of industrial painting, ensuring uniform coverage and flawless finishes.
- Become the subject matter expert in ISO 9000 work instructions related to industrial painting processes, thoroughly understanding and interpreting requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify any flaws or deviations from ISO 9000 work instructions, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, addressing inefficiencies and optimizing workflows.
- Train team members on proper industrial painting application techniques and adherence to ISO 9000 work instructions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance needs, coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure optimal functioning of spray coating equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of industrial painter processes, including records of inspections, quality control measures, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in wet spray coating technologies, incorporating best practices to enhance performance and quality standards.
- Uphold safety protocols and procedures at all times, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in autobody shop painting, with a strong emphasis on wet spray coating techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9000 work instructions, with the ability to interpret and apply requirements to industrial painter processes.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation, with a keen eye for identifying flaws or inefficiencies in procedures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex issues and implement practical solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Shift:
6am-4:30pm (some days may require coming in early at 5am or leaving later than 4:30pm)
Pay:
$26 - $30/hr (depending on experience)
