Structure Welder - MIG
Location: Claremore
Pay Range: $22-$24
Shifts Available: Day, Night, Weekend shifts available.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Structure Welder proficient in MIG welding techniques to join our team at Claremore. The ideal candidate will have experience in blueprint reading, layout, and welding of fabricated and forged components to assemble Header components. This position requires expertise in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW).
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand blueprints to accurately lay out components for welding.
- Fit and weld fabricated and forged components to assemble components using GMAW.
- Tack-weld parts to secure them in position for welding, adhering to correct welding processes and procedures.
- Set up welding equipment for the use of various types of materials.
- Demonstrate proficiency in code welding techniques.
- Perform weld tests, including passing a 1F, 2F, 3F and 4F test with a GMAW.
Requirements:
Ability to accurately fit and weld fabricated and forged components.
Some welding positions require the use of a cool air respirator.
Familiarity with setting up welding equipment for different materials.
