Well-established Pediatric clinic seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Certified Medical Assistant or RMA to join their team! Applicant should enjoy children and working with families.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Escort patients to and from exam room.
- Records patient data in EHR at each visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies & medication changes.
- EMR experience, 1+ year preferred.
- Insurance experience, a plus.
- Obtains all necessary consents/authorizations prior to treatment or procedure.
- Schedules surgeries, patient referrals, and appointments as required.
- Prepare and stock exam rooms & procedure rooms.
- Follows all exam & treatment room disinfections, OSHA and HIPAA protocols.
- Maintain efficient patient flow
- Process labs
- Displays excellent customer service, verbal & written communication and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Current, up-to-date certification or registration
- Pediatric experience a plus!
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experienced in administering immunizations/injections
- Ability to assist providers in giving great patient care
